Who's leading the conversation?
This visualization below allows you to see the impact that each user has on the current conversation. The top row contains the group of users who have had the most impact, the 2nd row the group of users who have had the 2nd most impact (et cetera). Users with similar impact are grouped together, and the average score of the group is shown to the left of the group. The author of the article is also shown on the left, in their corresponding group. Each user's score is based on the number of comments the user has made plus the number of votes their comments have received. The scores are calculated relative one another, so while their absolute value is not particularly important, their relative difference does indicate a larger difference in impact on the conversation.

ACLU attorney David Rocah said state police violated federal laws prohibiting departments that receive federal funds from maintaining databases with information about political activities and affiliations.

Not only did this State law enforcement group collect information on individual citizens political activities and affiliations they actively infiltrated groups to spy on them. They didn't just keep these databases but spread their spy data to federal law enforcers. They announced their crime to other law enforcement agencies yet the complaint against their illegal activities comes from a civil agency.

Police agencies need to start to take civics classes on the Constitution, Bill of rights, and then take some classes on the fascism of police groups and their ideology, to see how clueless they are.

hi Eric -

I saw a post from you in another thread that described your personal experience with law enforcement investigating your political affiliations many years ago. I thought of that when I saw this story of law enforcement corruption.

Despite Constitutional protections and legislation to support these fundamental citizen rights where there is no will to enforce the law the authority of the government overwhelms individual's rights. The corruption is thorough.
